At Applligraphy Inc., your privacy is not a checkbox — it shapes how we build. This policy covers all apps published by Applligraphy Inc., including WordLens: Dictionary Camera.
We collect no personal information. Our apps are built to work without accounts, sign-ins, or any form of personal data collection.
We do not collect your name, email address, location data, contacts, browsing history, device identifiers, or any personally identifiable information of any kind.
Apps such as WordLens request access to your device camera. Camera access is used solely to capture images for on-device text recognition. No images, video frames, or derived data are ever transmitted to our servers or any third party.
All camera-based processing happens entirely on your device, in real time, and is discarded immediately after use. Nothing is stored or logged.
You can revoke camera access at any time via iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Camera.
All core functionality in our apps — including text recognition, dictionary lookup, and any user preferences — operates entirely on your device. No processing is offloaded to remote servers. Your usage is private by design.
Any data generated by our apps (such as saved words or display preferences) is stored locally on your device only. We have no access to this data at any time. Deleting the app removes all associated local data from your device.
We may receive aggregated, anonymized usage and crash data through Apple's built-in App Store analytics, if you have opted in to share analytics with app developers via your iOS settings. This data cannot identify you individually and is used only to improve app stability.
You can control this at any time via iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Analytics & Improvements.
We do not use any third-party analytics SDKs, trackers, or crash reporting tools beyond what Apple provides natively.
Our apps contain no third-party advertising networks, social media SDKs, or tracking pixels. We do not sell, share, rent, or trade your data with any third party — because we have no data to share.
Our apps do not knowingly collect information from anyone, including children under 13. Since no personal data is collected from any user, our apps present no special privacy risk to minors. Parents or guardians with concerns are welcome to contact us directly.
If our privacy practices change in any meaningful way, we will update the effective date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, notify users through the App Store release notes. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
Continued use of our apps after any update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
